Subscription Payments and Refund Eligibility
OneTake uses a subscription-based billing model, and refund eligibility depends on the type of payment made and when it was processed. Not all subscription payments are refundable, and refund eligibility does not apply equally to every charge on an account.
Refunds are considered only for the initial subscription payment, and only if the request is made within the refund window defined in the refund policy. The initial payment refers to the first charge made when a subscription begins. If a refund request is submitted within the allowed timeframe and meets the policy conditions, it may be eligible for review.
Once a subscription renews, any renewal payment is considered final. Renewal charges are not eligible for refunds, regardless of whether the subscription is billed monthly or yearly. This applies even if the service is not actively used during the renewed billing period. Refund eligibility does not reset when a subscription renews.
Recurring subscription charges follow the same rule. After a recurring payment has been successfully processed, it cannot be refunded. Each recurring charge is treated as a completed transaction and is not eligible for reversal under the refund policy.
Canceling a subscription only stops future billing. It does not automatically make previous payments refundable. If a subscription is canceled after a payment has already been processed, access to the service continues until the end of the current billing period, but any unused time is not refunded.
If a subscription plan is upgraded or modified, refund eligibility is still governed by the timing and nature of the original payment. Charges associated with plan changes follow the same refund rules and are not automatically refundable.
Refund requests are evaluated on a per-payment basis. Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval and must comply with the refund policy conditions in effect at the time of purchase.
