How to Remove / Disable Subtitles in OneTake AI

If you do not want OneTake AI to add subtitles to your video, you can easily turn off this feature while your video is processing.

Steps to Prevent OneTake AI from Adding Subtitles

1. After your video finishes uploading, the editing options will be displayed.

2. In the Transcription and semantic analysis section, locate the option Add subtitles.

3. Make sure the checkbox for Add subtitles is unchecked.

When this box is unchecked, OneTake AI will not generate or add any subtitles to your video. The three options below it (Show main titles only, Turn my video into a professional presentation, and Turn my video into a text-only presentation) will remain inactive.

4. Scroll to the bottom of the options and check the box Save these settings for future videos.

This ensures that all your future videos will start with the Add subtitles option already unchecked, so you do not have to change it every time.

5. Click the arrow button at the bottom to continue processing your video.

Additional Options

• If you have already processed a video with subtitles and want them removed, open the finished project and type in the chat: “Remove all subtitles” or “Remove subtitles, keep everything else.” The AI will re-process the video without subtitles.

• If you want only main titles (not full subtitles), check Add subtitles and then select Show main titles only.

• If you want no text on screen at all, uncheck Add subtitles and also uncheck Text animation and transitions.
