Can I Download or Access the Subtitles (SRT File) of My Video?
OneTake AI does not currently offer a direct Download SRT button. Subtitles cannot be exported automatically as an SRT file from within the platform.
However, you can access the full subtitle transcript of your video and use it outside OneTake by sharing it via the Video + Transcript link.

How to Access Your Subtitles
- Open your video project in OneTake AI
- Click Share & Publish in the top navigation bar
- The Share & Publish modal will open
- Under Share or Embed (Recommended), click Copy Link under Video + Transcript
- Open the link in your browser
- The shared page displays your video alongside the full subtitle transcript in text format
- Locate the subtitles section on the page
- Highlight the subtitle text and copy it
- Paste it into a text editor such as Notepad, Google Docs, or any subtitle formatting tool
What the Video + Transcript Link Shows
When you open the Video + Transcript share link, viewers see:
- The video player
- The full transcript with all subtitles displayed as searchable text below or beside the video
This is the only way to access subtitle content outside of the OneTake AI editor at this time.
What This Means in Practice
Feature | Available |
|---|---|
Direct SRT download button | ❌ Not available |
Access subtitles via Video + Transcript link | ✅ Available |
Copy subtitles manually from share page | ✅ Available |
Convert copied text to SRT using external tool | ✅ Possible |
Notes
- The Video Only share link does not include the transcript — make sure to use Video + Transcript
- Subtitles must exist on the video — if subtitles were disabled during processing they will not appear on the share page
- OneTake AI may add direct SRT export in a future update — this article will be updated when that changes
