How to Enable Gaze Correction During Video Editing

Gaze Correction can be enabled directly from the video editing flow in OneTake. The feature is applied during editing and does not require re-recording your video.
Where to Find Gaze Correction
Gaze Correction is available inside the Customize Video section of a project. This section contains visual and AI enhancement options that can be applied to your video before export or publishing.
To access it, you must already have a video uploaded or available in your project.
Steps to Enable Gaze Correction
- Open your project in OneTake
- Go to the Customize Video section
- Locate the Gaze Correction option
- Enable the Gaze Correction toggle
- Save or apply the changes
What Happens After You Enable It
After turning on Gaze Correction, your video enters a processing state. During this time, OneTake applies eye-direction adjustments across the video where appropriate.
You may see a processing message or loading indicator while this step runs. Processing time depends on factors such as video length and resolution.
You do not need to stay on the page while processing completes. Once finished, the updated video will reflect the gaze correction automatically.
Editing Behavior
Gaze Correction can be enabled or disabled before final export. If you turn it off, the video will revert to its original eye direction without affecting other edits.
You can continue adjusting other settings such as video style, background removal, soundtrack, or layouts independently of gaze correction.
When You Might Not See the Option
If the Gaze Correction option is not visible:
- Make sure you are in the Customize Video section
- Confirm the video has finished initial processing
- Refresh the page and reopen the project if needed
