How to Share, Embed, or Download Your Video in OneTake AI

Once your video is ready in OneTake AI, you have multiple options for distributing it — whether you want to send a private link, embed the player on your own website, or download the file to use elsewhere. All of these options are accessed from one place: the Share & Publish button in the top navigation bar of the editor.

Opening Share & Publish

After your video has been processed:

  1. Open the video in your OneTake AI editor
  2. Click the Share & Publish button in the top right navigation bar
  3. A modal will appear with two sections: Share or Embed and Downloads

Under the Share or Embed (Recommended) section, you'll see two link options:

Video + Transcript Copies a link that opens the video alongside its full transcript. This is useful when you want viewers to follow along, search within the content, or reference specific sections.

Video Only Copies a direct link to the video without the transcript view. Use this when you want a cleaner viewing experience or when the transcript is not relevant to your audience.

Both links are hosted by OneTake AI at no additional cost. Anyone with the link can access the video, making these links suitable for private sharing via email, messaging apps, Slack, or any private channel — without needing a separate landing page or video hosting tool.

Embedding the Video on Your Website

If you want to place the video directly onto a webpage you control, OneTake AI provides an embed code.

To get it:

  1. Click Share & Publish
  2. Under Share or Embed (Recommended), select Embed the Player
  3. Click Copy Code
  4. You'll see a confirmation message: "Embed code copied to clipboard"
  5. Paste the code into your website's HTML where you want the player to appear

The embed code works on any platform where you can insert HTML, including:

  • Personal or business websites
  • WordPress pages
  • Course platforms (Teachable, Thinkific, Kajabi, etc.)
  • Internal portals or intranets
  • Password-protected pages
  • Custom landing pages

Because access control is handled by your own platform, you can restrict who sees the video without any additional configuration on the OneTake AI side.

Downloading Your Video

If you need the actual file — for editing, uploading to another platform, or archiving — use the Downloads section in the same Share & Publish modal.

There are three download options:

Video Downloads the video file only. Use this if you plan to upload to YouTube, a client portal, or another video host.

Audio Downloads the audio track only. Useful for repurposing content as a podcast episode or audio file.

Both Downloads both the video and audio files together.

After clicking any download option, OneTake AI will generate your download link within a few minutes. The link will also be sent to your email address so you don't need to stay on the page.

Notes

  • OneTake AI hosts your videos for free — you do not need a separate video hosting service to use the share links or embed player
  • OneTake AI is not a website builder or funnel tool. It handles video creation and hosting; you control where and how the content is delivered
  • Download links are generated asynchronously and will be emailed to you — you do not need to wait on the page
