The soundtrack or AI music is not playing in my video
If your soundtrack or AI generated music is not playing, this is usually related to volume settings or how the music option is configured in the project. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot.
Step 1: Check that music is enabled
Go to Customize Video and scroll to the Soundtrack section.
Make sure the option “Yes, I want to direct a custom track” or an equivalent music option is selected.
If music is set to off, no soundtrack will play.
Step 2: Check the volume level
In the Volume dropdown, confirm that the volume is not set too low.
Recommended setting:
• Subtle – International Standard (Recommended)
If you cannot hear the music clearly, try increasing the volume temporarily to:
• Clearly Present
• Very Loud
Step 3: Preview the soundtrack inside the editor
Use the play button next to the waveform in the Soundtrack section to preview the music.
If you hear sound here but not in the full video preview, the issue is likely related to volume balance rather than missing audio.
Step 4: Save and refresh the project
After adjusting soundtrack settings, click Save.
Refresh the page and preview the video again.
Sometimes changes will not reflect until the project is saved and reloaded.
Step 5: Check system audio
Make sure your device volume is turned up and that your browser tab is not muted.
If possible, test playback using headphones or a different browser.
If the music still does not play
If you have confirmed that:
• Music is enabled
• Volume is set to an audible level
• The project is saved
• System audio is working
and the soundtrack is still not playing, contact OneTake AI support. When contacting support, include:
• The project name
• Whether the issue happens in preview, export, or both
• A short description of what you have already tried
This helps the support team investigate and resolve the issue faster.
